About Maine Cottage Keepers
Hi, I’m Shawn-Elise—co-founder and owner of Maine Cottage Keepers.
Maine Cottage Keepers began with one very personal place: Sea Rose Cottage, a home deeply connected to my family and my roots here in Maine. It was our own home, lovingly prepared and thoughtfully managed during a time when travel felt uncertain. What began out of necessity quickly became a calling—to create Maine stays that feel genuinely cared for, not simply professionally managed.
I learned a great deal about people, service, and the value of doing things well from my dad. His presence and memory are woven throughout Sea Rose Cottage, both inside and out, and that sense of meaning and stewardship carries through everything I do. This isn’t just a business—it’s personal.
Great stays don’t happen by accident; they happen when people feel truly cared for.
At Maine Cottage Keepers, guest service is personal, attentive, and responsive. From the moment you book until the day you check out, communication is clear, timely, and human. Questions are answered promptly, details are anticipated, and if something needs attention, it’s handled with care and accountability.
There are no call centers, scripts, or handoffs. You’re communicating with someone who knows the home, the area, and the small details that make a stay feel effortless—because those details matter.
Our goal is simple: you arrive, settle in, and enjoy your time in Maine without having to think about logistics. Everything works. Help is available. And your stay feels comfortable, seamless, and unhurried.
Consider it hospitality that doesn’t call attention to itself—because when it’s done well, it simply feels right.
